We (my 16yr old son) and I have just returned from an amazing tout of Sri Lanka… the itinerary was amazing and exactly as described, but nothing could have prepared us for both the splendour of the countryside and the overall friendliness of everyone we met on the trip.
Our guide for the trip (gavindu) was hugely knowledgeable and accommodating, giving us great insight to what we were seeing with great historical knowledge as well.
