The tour we have been arranged ourselves before the journey. The guide Vishan is really good, he explained about local life, put us to some nice local restaurants we could taste national food, etc.
In general visit to this island is highly recommended!
The value of quality/price is good compared to many other tours. The guide/driver sanka communicates very responsive on WhatsApp. He shared lots of information during the tour and was very helpful in explaining what to do at the tour to get access to the sights. He answered all my questions (I learned a lot) and gave tips for the rest of our trip in Sri Lanka. He bought some fruit when we were hungry. Very thoughtful.
He had picked us up from the airport and was very helpful with buying a sim and getting into the hotel as we arrived very late (calling the staff). He drives very safely.
The advantage of a private tour is that you can change the itinerary if you want.
I would recommend this tour and tour company with this guide/driver to everyone.

gavindu was a fantastic tour guide, he tailored the tour to what I wanted which was mainly to see Sigiriya and Dimbula and Ella. He was a very safe but efficient driver and was very timely.
I was to-ing and fro-ing about going to Sigiriya but I am so glad I did!
I also left belongings in the car with gavindu which he chased me up about and returned the next day! A good man, I am very lucky.

Honestly it was one of the best days of our lives! gavindu our driver was very friendly, knowledgeable and went over and above for us (even surprising us with a special gift for us to take home at the end of the day!). Couldn’t recommend this enough as a day trip from Kandy for anyone wanting to see the Sigiriya area. We felt very relaxed and safe in the air con’d car and the itinerary was flexible. gavindu organised an incredible safari for us where we had close up quiet moments with LOADS of elephants! Warning: If you have a fear of heights lion rock is a bit of a challenge…proud to have managed it in the end but was a bit of a shock (perhaps also avoid doing in the midday sun, we tried to climb it 1pm and it was probably 36+ degrees with little shade). gavindu provided us with some local snacks and made sure we had a tasty dinner before our drive back but would suggest perhaps taking extra snacks just in case. All in all absolutely 5 star experience – we can’t believe how much we managed to squeeze into one amazing day!!
Best guide award should go to gavindu !! He is very hospitable, welcoming and on time!! We had such a great time in each location and the trip went very smoothly!! Actually after travelling to so many places in the world, when we come to Sri Lanka, I wanna skip some overrated stuff, I find gavindus itinerary very on point and its exactly what I need. We got so much done in a day and he is very flexible with timing, full of energy and always with a warm smile, if we come back to Kandy again, we will definitely call him again.
